World Preeclampsia Day: Raising Awareness with Ultrasound Checks

On May 22nd, World Preeclampsia Day, our Philippine partner participated in a special event organized by the Philippine Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine, providing free ultrasound services during the Maternal Lay Forum. Doctors used our ultrasound diagnostics to assist in checking expectant mothers for preeclampsia.

Preeclampsia is a serious pregnancy complication characterized by high blood pressure and protein in the urine, affecting about 2% of pregnant women. Early detection and regular antenatal care can make a big difference in the health of both mother and baby.

Together, we can raise awareness for healthier pregnancies! Our goal is to provide everyone with knowledge about preeclampsia and aim for a safer pregnancy journey free from preeclampsia and its complications.
