Advancing Sports Medicine Education: Ultrasound Workshop at AWF Gdańsk

Focus & Fusion Healthcare was honored to contribute to a recent ultrasound training workshop at the Akademia Wychowania Fizycznego (AWF) in Gdańsk, Poland, focused on advancing musculoskeletal (MSK) diagnostic skills among medical students and sports physicians.

This hands-on event was made possible through collaboration with renowned orthopedic surgeon Dr. Jarosław Śmigielski and our valued distributor AMM Medical Devices. Together, we delivered training that emphasized the real-time diagnostic value of MSK ultrasound in sports medicine—from evaluating joint injuries to guiding rehabilitation strategies.

Participants gained direct experience using our portable ultrasound systems, learning how to assess soft tissue, muscle, and joint pathologies in athletes with greater precision and clinical confidence. The event not only enhanced ultrasound competency but also underscored its role in injury prevention and faster return-to-play decision-making.
